This smart scale links up with the best food database available, giving you nutritional information on more than 400,000 items. The original Sencor FOOD app was developed in partnership with the creators of the popular Kalorické tabuľky app (Dine4FIT). You can easily log everything you weigh and eat, then track it all right inside the Kalorické tabuľky app, giving you a long-term overview of your food intake. This rich database is always within reach thanks to Bluetooth and pairing with your smartphone.

The scale connects to your smartphone automatically

You can connect the scale to your smartphone via Bluetooth, whether you have an Android device or an iPhone. The app is intuitive, simple and quick to use. Once connected, your phone screen shows the weight of the food you've measured, followed by detailed information about the nutritional makeup of each ingredient. You'll see the carbohydrate content (including sugars), as well as fats, proteins, fibre and total energy. Together with the app, you have an extensive food database with full nutritional breakdowns at your fingertips wherever you have an internet connection. The Sencor FOOD app works with the scale in two modes.

Sencor FOOD and "On the scale" mode

The scale weighs up to 5 kg of food, and does so to within a single gram. To see the weight of the food you're weighing along with its nutritional makeup, select "On the scale" mode. All the values appear quickly and clearly on the scale's display.

Sencor FOOD and "List" mode

"List" mode shows you a summary of the nutritional values of every food you add, one after another. It comes in handy when you're cooking from a recipe, for example. Using the TARA function, you add each ingredient to the list with the plus "+" button on your phone screen. The scale reliably shows you the total weight as well as the share of nutrients in every food you add.

Switch modes easily with TARA/MODE

With the TARA/MODE button, a long press lets you choose one of the three available modes: weighing, water volume measurement or milk volume measurement. To reset to zero and offset the weight of a bowl or other container, use the smart TARA function. It does the same job when measuring the volume of liquid in a container – once the scale is zeroed, it displays the volume.

Add up ingredient weights with the smart TARA function

The scale naturally shows the final weight and volume without counting the weight of the container. The smart TARA function is also a welcome help when you're weighing several foods at once. The scale subtracts the weight of both the container and any newly added ingredients, so it always shows you an accurate result.

Like several other household helpers from Sencor, this smart scale belongs to the premium metallic range. You can choose from nine colour variations, including this green. Its modern look is rounded off by a clear, backlit circular LCD screen with 2 cm tall, easy-to-read digits.

Smart TARA function for adding ingredients one by one
Place an empty container on the scale. Its weight appears on the display along with the "O" symbol. Press the TARA/MODE button to reset the value to zero. The "O" symbol stays lit.
Put the first food item in the container. Its weight appears on the display. Press the TARA/MODE button to reset the value to zero and the "T" symbol lights up. The weight of the first food item is now stored in memory and the scale is ready for the next weighing.
Put the second food item in the container. Its weight appears on the display. Press the TARA/MODE button to show the combined weight of the first and second food items. Press TARA/MODE again to store the total in memory and reset the value on the display to zero. The "T" symbol stays lit.
