This smart scale connects to the best food database available, giving you nutritional information on more than 400,000 items. The dedicated Sencor FOOD app was created in cooperation with the team behind the popular Kalorické tabulky app (Dine4FIT). You can easily log the ingredients you weigh and your daily intake, then track it all right inside the Kalorické tabulky app. This gives you a long-term picture of what you eat. With Bluetooth and a quick pairing to your smartphone, that rich database is always within reach.
The scale connects to your smartphone automatically
You can pair the scale with your smartphone over Bluetooth, whether you use Android or iOS. The app is intuitive, simple and quick to use. Once connected, your phone screen shows the weight of the food you've placed on the scale, followed by detailed information on the nutritional makeup of each ingredient. You'll see the carbohydrate content (including sugars), fat, protein, fibre and total energy at a glance. Together with the app, you have a comprehensive food database with full nutritional breakdowns at your fingertips, wherever you have an internet connection. The Sencor FOOD app works with the scale in two modes.
Sencor FOOD and "On the scale" mode
The scale weighs up to 5 kg of food, and does so to the nearest gram. To display the weight of the food you're weighing along with its nutritional makeup, select "On the scale" mode. All the values appear quickly and clearly on the scale's display.
Sencor FOOD and "List" mode
"List" mode displays a combined summary of the nutritional values of all the foods you add one after another. You'll appreciate it when cooking from a recipe, for example. Using the TARA function, you add each ingredient to the list by tapping the plus "+" button on your phone screen. The scale always reliably shows you the total weight as well as the share of nutrients contributed by each food you add.
Switch modes with ease using TARA/MODE
A long press of the TARA/MODE button lets you choose one of the three available modes: weighing, water volume measurement, or milk volume measurement. To zero the scale and offset the weight when weighing in a bowl or another container, use the smart TARA function. It works the same way when measuring the volume of a liquid in a container – once the scale has been zeroed, the volume is displayed.
Add up ingredient weights with the smart TARA function
Naturally, the scale shows the final weight and volume without the weight of the container you've placed on it. You'll also welcome the smart TARA function when weighing several foods at once. The scale subtracts the weight of both the container and the newly added ingredients, so it always shows you an accurate result.
