The smart scale is linked to the best food database available, offering nutritional information on more than 400,000 items. The bespoke Sencor FOOD app was developed in collaboration with the authors of the popular Kalorické tabulky app (Dine4FIT). You can easily log records of the ingredients you weigh and your intake, then track them in the Kalorické tabulky app. This gives you a long-term overview of everything you eat. With Bluetooth connectivity and pairing to your smartphone, that rich database is always at your fingertips.
The scale connects to your smartphone automatically
You can connect the scale to your smartphone via Bluetooth, whether you own an Android or an iOS device. The app is intuitive, easy and quick to use. Once connected, your phone screen shows the weight of the food you've measured along with detailed information on the nutritional makeup of each ingredient. You get a clear picture of the carbohydrates (including sugars), fats, protein, fibre and total energy. Together with the app, you have an extensive food database with a full nutritional breakdown wherever you have an internet connection. The Sencor FOOD app works with the scale in two modes.
Sencor FOOD and the On the scale mode
The scale weighs up to 5 kg of food, and does so to the nearest gram. To see the weight of the food and its nutritional makeup, select the "On the scale" mode. All the values appear quickly and clearly on the scale's display.
Sencor FOOD and the List mode
The "List" mode displays a summary of the nutritional values of all the foods you add one after another. You'll appreciate it when cooking from a recipe, for example. Using the TARA function, you add each ingredient to the list by tapping the plus "+" button on your phone screen. The scale reliably shows you the total weight as well as the share of nutrients in every food you add.
Switch modes easily with TARA/MODE
With the TARA/MODE button, a long press lets you choose one of three available modes: weighing, water volume measurement, or milk volume measurement. To reset to zero and tare the weight when weighing in a bowl or other container, use the smart TARA function. The same function comes in handy when measuring the volume of liquid in a container - once the scale is zeroed, it displays the volume.
Add up ingredient weights with the smart TARA function
Naturally, the scale shows the final weight and volume without the weight of the container you've placed on it. The smart TARA function is also a welcome help when you weigh several foods at once. The scale subtracts the weight of both the container and any newly added ingredients, so it always shows an accurate result.
A metallic finish to brighten up any kitchen
Like several other home helpers from Sencor, this smart scale belongs to the premium metallic range. You can choose from nine colour variations, including this green one. The modern look is rounded off by a clear, backlit circular LCD screen with bold, easy-to-read digits 2 cm tall.
