The smart scale is linked to the best food database available, offering nutritional information on more than 400,000 items. The dedicated Sencor FOOD app was developed in partnership with the creators of the popular Kalorické tabulky app (Dine4FIT). You can easily log the ingredients you weigh along with your daily intake, then track everything right in the Kalorické tabulky app. This gives you a long-term picture of your eating habits. With Bluetooth connectivity and your smartphone paired, this rich database is always at your fingertips.
The scale pairs with your smartphone automatically
You can connect the scale to your smartphone over Bluetooth, and it makes no difference whether you own an Android or iOS device. The app is intuitive, quick and easy to use. Once paired, your phone screen shows the weight of the food you've measured, followed by detailed information on the nutritional makeup of each ingredient. You'll get a clear breakdown of carbohydrates (including sugars), fats, proteins, fibre and total energy. Together with the app, you'll have a comprehensive food database with full nutritional breakdowns on hand wherever you have an internet connection. The Sencor FOOD app works with the scale in two modes.
Sencor FOOD and "On the scale" mode
The scale can weigh up to 5 kg of food, and it does so with one-gram accuracy. To display the weight of the food you're measuring along with its nutritional makeup, select "On the scale" mode. Every value appears quickly and clearly on the scale's display.
Sencor FOOD and "List" mode
"List" mode displays a running total of the nutritional values of every food you add along the way. It really comes into its own when you're cooking from a recipe. Using the TARA function, you add each ingredient to the list by tapping the plus "+" button on your phone screen. The scale reliably shows you the combined weight as well as the share of nutrients for every food you add.
Switch modes easily with TARA/MODE
Press and hold the TARA/MODE button to choose one of three available modes: weighing, water volume measurement, or milk volume measurement. To reset to zero and offset the weight when weighing in a bowl or another container, use the smart TARA function. It does the same job when measuring the volume of liquid in a container - once the scale is zeroed, it displays the volume.
Add up ingredient weights with the smart TARA function
Naturally, the scale shows the final weight and volume without counting the container you've placed on it. The smart TARA function is also a welcome help when you're weighing several foods at once. The scale deducts the weight of both the container and any newly added ingredients, so it always shows you an accurate result.
A metallic finish to brighten up any kitchen
Like several other household helpers from Sencor, this smart scale belongs to the premium metallic range. You can choose from nine colour variants, including this green one. The modern look is rounded off by a clear, backlit circular LCD screen with 2 cm tall, easy-to-read digits.
