You can't control the weather, but with the SENCOR SWS 5270 home weather station, you can at least be ready for it. The large, detailed display shows the current outdoor and indoor temperature (in Celsius or Fahrenheit), humidity as a percentage, and atmospheric pressure. You can also follow the graphical weather forecast, which helps you decide what to wear and warns you about frost or temperature extremes — a handy feature that helps protect your family's health.
Easy Setup and Operation
The SWS 5270 comes with a wireless TH270 outdoor sensor. Just insert the batteries (2 x AAA) and place it on a flat surface or mount it outside your home. A garden or terrace is ideal, but a regular open balcony works just as well. Shortly after you turn on the sensor, temperature, humidity and pressure readings appear on the weather station. Within about half an hour, the icon-based forecast (rain, partly cloudy, sunny and more) kicks in, based on your local conditions.
So Much More Than a Thermometer
The weather station has a compact footprint. Thanks to the built-in stand, you can place it on a shelf or bedside table. Power it via the included adapter or 3 x AAA batteries — perfect if there's no suitable outlet nearby. The digital clock with dual alarm (with snooze) lets you wake up to a fresh forecast every morning. To keep it from disturbing your sleep, the SENCOR SWS 5270 offers multi-step display brightness adjustment. You can also pair up to three sensors for full indoor and outdoor coverage.
