You're probably already familiar with air coolers, but I'm the Sencor SFN 9011SL air cooler, and I rule the roost in this category. Behind me stand the clever engineers at Sencor, who made me a true 3-in-1 appliance. Not only do I cool you down on hot days as an air cooler, I'm also a humidifier and a fan. What's more, you can control all my functions with the remote that comes in the box. I'm a safe bet, too, because I come with three operating modes that are sure to win you over. I'm also proud of my precise timer and roomy water tank.

Three different operating modes for day and night

Since I'm an energy-efficient air cooler, you don't have to worry about running me overnight. I have a special SLEEP mode ready for you, gently lulling you to sleep by varying and gradually lowering the fan speed so you're never in danger of catching a chill. In this setting I'm also very quiet and won't disturb you. I can also treat you to NATURAL mode, in which I do my best to recreate the authentic feeling of a summer breeze or a light autumn wind. In NORMAL mode I simply work as a fan at whatever speed you choose, adapting to your needs.

The Sencor air cooler is a lifesaver on summer days

Let me introduce myself as an air cooler: to do my job properly, all you need to do is pour fresh cold water into my 5.5-litre tank. Press the TIMER button to set how long I run (anywhere from 30 minutes to 7.5 hours). I won't turn your home into the Arctic, but thanks to the Sencor cooling packs, which chill the water inside the tank after you take them out of the freezer, I come pretty close. Besides cooling, I also put that water to use for my other job: humidifying the air in your room. Dry air can cause breathing difficulties or dry skin, and I offer the perfect solution to these problems. I'll be a particular blessing to anyone with allergies or asthma. Once I've used up the water in my generous tank, I switch the humidifying function off automatically.

I'll keep you cool at three different speeds

I'm one of the smart air coolers, so Sencor gave me three speed settings, which I'll introduce to you now. You can choose low, medium and high speed. The difference between them is genuinely noticeable. Even on high speed, I won't create an unpleasant draught in your home like some air coolers do. Sencor also threw in a little extra for me - the SWING button, which lets you switch on automatic side-to-side oscillation so the air circulates even more effectively.

A long-distance relationship with me works beautifully, and I even have a backlit LED display

Operating me is no rocket science - Sencor kept things simple, so my kit includes a remote control with a modest six buttons. That's all you need to control every one of my functions, which I also show as icons on my blue-backlit LED display. I carry out your commands conscientiously, though the range for the remote connection is 6 metres. As an air cooler, I'm also proud of my control panel, which guides you through all the modes without a hitch.

Easy to handle, modern looks and quick maintenance

I sport a black-and-silver cooler design that won't go unnoticed and yet blends perfectly into your interior. There's no need to worry that, as an air cooler, I demand a lot of care. I clean quickly and very easily with a cloth and clean water, which you use on my filters. My base has castor wheels that make it easy to move me around your home, so you don't have to struggle with my weight of 7.2 kg. You can conveniently stow the remote in the compartment on my back, and I have a holder for winding up any excess power cord. I really am the best air cooler around.
