The simple, energy-efficient SENCOR SWS 2999 weather station fits into any home. Before you head out to work or school, it tells you what to wear. Just check the icon-based forecast, glance at the outdoor temperature reading, and you are set. The station is highly accurate, measuring outdoor temperature from -20 °C up to +60 °C (or °F) and humidity from 20% to 95%, both indoors and outdoors. It also stores peak readings in memory. On-screen touch buttons make it easy to use — even the youngest member of the family will pick it up in no time.
Large high-contrast display
The well-designed display makes information easy to read even without glasses. It also forecasts the weather using clear icons such as “rain”, “partly cloudy”, “snow” and more. The SWS 2999 weather station comes with an outdoor sensor that you can place, for example, in the garden. It transmits over distances of up to 50 metres. Once paired with the station, it starts forecasting the weather and measuring outdoor temperature and humidity. Both the station and the sensor can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on the wall.
Battery-powered
Both the SENCOR SWS 2999 station and its outdoor sensor are easy to move around thanks to battery power. The station uses 3× AAA batteries and the sensor 2× AA — so no cables get in your way. With minimal energy consumption, the device runs for a long time on a single set of batteries. When the batteries start to run low, a discharge indicator lets you know in good time. Beyond the weather, the station also shows the current accurate time, so it earns its place on any shelf or mantelpiece.
