Key properties
Sencor SWS 4700 weather station with a wireless sensor
With the Sencor SWS 4700 weather station, you’ll get a quick overview of the current weather and indoor conditions. The color display shows all the important data clearly in one place, and thanks to its wide range of features, you’ll always have the information you need at your fingertips to help you plan your day better.
Easy-to-read color display
The large, portrait-oriented color display offers plenty of space for a clear view of all important data. Its modern design is accentuated by rich colors and deep blacks, which help highlight specific information and make it easier to navigate. Thanks to three brightness levels, the display remains easy to read both day and night.
Keep the Weather Inside and Outside Under Control
The station generates a 12- to 24-hour weather forecast based on changes in atmospheric pressure and air temperature. Current weather conditions are clearly displayed using intuitive icons for sunny weather, partly cloudy, cloudy, rain, or snow. It simultaneously monitors both indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, and uses trend indicators to show whether the values are rising or falling. This way, you always have all the important information at your fingertips.
A barometer detects changes in the weather
The current barometric pressure reading helps you better understand weather trends and provides additional information to complement a traditional forecast. A clear bar chart displays pressure changes over the past 1, 2, 3, 6, or 12 hours, making it easy to see whether the pressure is rising or falling. The combination of current and historical data makes it easier to recognize weather trends and better adapt to changing conditions.
Accurate time thanks to radio-controlled clocks
This radio-controlled clock uses the DCF77 signal to automatically synchronize the time and supports automatic switching to both daylight saving time and standard time. Of course, manual adjustment is also possible. The clock features a digital display of the time, date, and day of the week, with the day of the week available in one of 11 languages. A handy memory function for maximum and minimum values over the past 24 hours allows you to track trends in the measured data. It also includes an alarm clock with a snooze function to make waking up more comfortable.
Advanced features for even more information
The Sencor SWS 4700 offers a range of additional features that expand the capabilities of a standard weather station. The frost warning alerts you to the risk of temperatures dropping below freezing, and there are also alerts for high or low outdoor temperatures. A practical 3-level comfort indicator helps you monitor the quality of your home environment, while the current moon phase display provides insight into natural cycles. This gives you access to more useful data for your daily planning and decision-making.
Inspection of Conditions at Multiple Locations
The station comes with one SWS TH26-27-42-46-47 wireless sensor, which measures outdoor temperature and humidity and communicates with the main unit at a distance of up to 80 m in open space. If you need to monitor conditions at multiple locations simultaneously, you can connect up to 3 sensors to the station. This allows you to monitor temperature and humidity, for example, in a basement, greenhouse, or garage. The readings from all connected sensors can automatically cycle through the display without the need for manual switching. Additionally, low-battery indicators will alert you in a timely manner when batteries need to be replaced in both the main unit and the sensor.
